Kelgin Consulting's Youth Leadership Development workshops and trainings provide young rising leaders the necessary life skills that not only prepares them as they embark upon their next chapter, but also empowers them to realize their inherent potential.
Through our delivery of hands-on learning experiences, as well as a collaborative classroom , our workshops will enable personal and leadership development that will enhance professional skills and foster personal growth by leaving the students more confident in their abilities.

Course Offerings
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

MINDFULNESS
This course explores feelings and how to understand and process them appropriately. Students will learn how to choose positive thoughts vs. unhelpful ones.
GOAL SETTING
Students will learn how to set themselves up for success by learning about the importance of goal setting. They will also create their personal goals and vision board.
BUILDING YOUR YOUR BRAND
This course defines and explores the importance of personal branding. We will engage in a group project to help students start building their own personal brands.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

LEADERSHIP COACHING
This course is facilitated by a Leadership expert to help students understand the importance of possessing positive leadership attributes, what they are, and how to start funneling them into their personal day to day lives.

YOUTH & EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
This course is designed to provide young rising leaders with an understanding of what Emotional Intelligence (EI) is, why it is an important ability to possess, and the positive impact that it can play in understanding and confidently managing their emotions. Through lecture, interactive conversations and hands-on activities, we will also explore the necessary EI knowledge and skills that will help to increase levels of comfort in communicating and responding to others.

POWERING YOUR PRESENCE
Presence & Presentation involves the ability to skillfully use your appearance and behavior to make a powerful connection. This interactive class workshop will apply a combination of lecture, individual assessments, modeling, coaching and real-time practice to teach students the necessary skills to confidently connect with others, while making a impactful impression.
TEAM BUILDING
This highly interactive class will build the foundation for understanding the importance of team building through exploration, and exercises, enabling them to confidence in themselves and trust in others.

ACCOUNTABILITY
This course will teach students the importance of understanding their roles of in their actions and how to appropriately take ownership of their decisions.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS
This course is designed to teach students to communicate verbally and non-verbally with confidence. We will also practice positive, social engagement skills.
INTERVIEW SKILLS
This course teaches students the necessary skills for presently themselves effectively in any interview setting. We will also create 30-second elevator speeches and discuss resume preparation.
PERSUASION & NEGOTIATION
In this course, students will learn powerful techniques for influencing others, as well as the art of identifying a happy medium
